Concerned by his good friend Dr Henry Jekyll's recent behaviour, Gabriel Utterson is driven to uncover the identity of the mysterious and dangerous Mr. Hyde, to whom Jekyll is enthralled.

Unfinished version of the immortal story with Jason Robards in the lead role, who was replaced by Jack Palance and the resultant film was released one year later as The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1967).

Henry Jekyll, a shy and unassuming doctor, is obsessed with the idea of separating the good in man's nature from the evil, and is attracted to Rebecca, daughter of the head teacher of the medical school.

Dr. Jekyll has made a sensational discovery: he has managed to separate good from evil in himself. This discovery he must keep secret, because the bearer of evil, Mr. Hyde, has become uncontrollable.

After successfully curing a primate's heart condition, Dr. Henry Jeckyll develops a personality-enhancing serum for himself which inadvertently creates an evil alter ego personality, Edward Hyde, who sets out to terrorize college co-eds.

Television adaptation of the novel by R.L. Stevenson about the upright Dr Jekyll whose experiments lead him to discover a way to separate out good and evil in a man, and lead to him becoming the persona of the immoral Mr Hyde when taking the substance. However, he finds that the splitting begins to occur of its own accord and he loses control over it.

Paul Wegener gives one of his most active performances here as Captain Ramper, a heroic aviator who makes a pioneering flight across the Arctic accompanied only by Ippling, his faithful mechanic (Kurt Gerron). Near the North Pole, their plane develops engine failure and crashes in the desolate wastes. Ippling dies straight off but Ramper finds a supply base containing food which has been left behind by a previous expedition. After fifteen years in the Arctic wastes, Ramper has considerably mutated.

In 1945, the new Polish government asked for the heart of Chopin previously buried in Paris. A woman called Paulina Czernika approached the government claiming to have some love letters from the composer to her great-grandmother, the Countess Delfina Potocka.

At the end of his life, Wilhelm Reich - psychiatrist and experimental scientist searching for the fundamentals of life - finds himself on trial, charged with deception. His dream of liberating human individuality makes him a dangerous opponent of an American system that is striving after 1945 for global hegemony, using all available means. Was it madness to believe in man's liberty or was Reich simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and, being a holistic global thinker, accurately observing far-reaching socio-political linkages?
